After snowing last weekend, today thankfully was the most summer-y day we've had all year. A friend of mine is working on a project in a nearby village, called Rabdisht, where we celebrated her birthday. A furgon took us there and a four-piece band accompanied us, playing all the way there and back. What seemed like the entire village came out to dance, eat, drink, or just watch against the walls.
Other than partying in villages, life is good and getting better with the improving weather. I have to buckle down these last two months to finish up all the projects that I want to accomplish. However, I'm starting to see the makings of a really pleasant summer.
I've been listening to a decent amount of Jesus and Mary Chain lately, so today's title comes from their 1987 album, Darklands.
